Search engine and
referrer tracking:
Web-Stat was developed to
help you understand how
visitors find your site.
The 'Referrer Tracker'
records the number of
visitors sent each week to
your site by all
search engines and
referrers. It allows you to
see how your
referencing/marketing
strategy works over the long
haul.
On the example graph
below the blue line shows
the traffic sent by
Google to our sample
site, week by week, over the
last year ; dark red is the
pay-per-click engine
Adwords, light red is
Yahoo !, and so on.
search engine and referrer
tracker
The referrer tracker
automatically detects any
referrer that links to your
site (for instance a search
engine, an outside site with
a link to your URL, a
particular newsgroup, email,
etc). It also detects and
records keywords used to
find you (see example
keyword report, above on
this page)
In the case of search
engines, Web-Stat will also
record automatically the
keywords that visitors used
and allow you to duplicate
the searches that lead to
your site. It will then give
you a summary, by search
engine, of your most popular
keywords.
Geo location of all
visitors: With its
geo-location tool Web-Stat
pinpoints the exact location
of all your visitors, down
to the country, state, city
and zip code. The results
are then presented on
clickable maps of the
world, Europe, North
America, South America,
Africa and Australia. Note
that Web-Stat geo-location
is by far the most precise
available in the industry
today.
